I work with people who are navigating complex trauma (yes that includes living in this current political climate), experiencing life changes, wishing to connect more with others, processing the impacts of past and present attachments on functioning and increasing self-awareness to meet their goals.
I provide a supportive and affirming care to all individuals regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation and socioeconomic status.
While all are welcome, I specialize in supporting the needs of Black Women navigating familial and societal exceptions as well as learning self-love while processing and healing from generational trauma.
I see all relationship types (including consensual nonmonogamy) looking to improve communication, deepen intimacy and trust. I see sex as a large part of relationship supports, therefore, this is a space to talk all things sex too!

I operate from a core belief: you are the CEO of your own life, I’m just here to help. I honor your perceptive and needs, using a collaborative approach to therapy.
I have eclectic approaches to therapy, blending the best of evidence based practices like cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, attachment, psychoanalysis (aka how your childhood impacted you).
I use a sociological approach meaning that you exist in society which can greatly impact you. We explore how race, class, gender, culture, family and community influence your mental health as well as identity.

You’re looking for someone direct, relaxed, and someone who will challenge you (when needed). For my BIPOC and LGBTG + community (bisexual girly here), this is the space where you can be yourself without having to explain why you are using the letter word or what “clock it” means. If you want a therapist who embraces the messiness of human nature not only in you but in herself, I might be the therapist for you.

When I’m not in sessions, you’ll likely find me spending time with my family and friends, walking my dog Maddie, at a local coffee shop and looking at TikToks longer than I’d like to admit.
Im also a Mama Bear so at times I may be pulling my hair due to the chaos of having a broke best friend.
If I’m not spending time with others, I’m playing the Sims, watching reality TV or being a nap queen.
I love planning events(currently brainstorming things that we can do at Sunflower Haven), cooking and shopping (I do more than I should- we listen and we dont judge).
